 Baby Brown crickets?

What do they look like? And how big are they more or less? lol. I am new to breeding crickets. I have about 120 full grown crickets that I am trying to breed...but there just doesnt seem to be any new crickets. All I see are a couple of incredibly tiny white insects about the size of a pin head...but when I say a small amount I mean a REALLY small amount. Are these the babies? I have them in a 20 litrse box on potting soil substrate that I keep moist all the time with a light to provide heat for them. Am I doing anything wrong or should I just wait? I’ve been breading for about 15-20 days now. Should I be seeing a marked difference in the number in that specific box?

Nope, doesnt’ work that way. Keep plenty of moist vegetables in there, or the males will eat the eggs. When you see the eggs in the tub of moist soil you have in there, you can remove it and put it into a "hatching tub" - just a tub - I use a shoebox shaped plastic one from the dollar store. This I put on my viv since it is warmer there. The eggs will begin to hatch after two weeks, and yes they are initially tiny white moving specs. Then they turn tan, and have their first moult in about two or three days. That is when you will think they are all dying off, but really it is the shed skins.

Moist bark works better! NO need for heat!
