Cause they will eat each OTHER as adults even if they are JUST wounded!!! Crickets will eat anything including each other! Keep them well fed with fruits and veggies daily, take out and add fresh! Mist the cage! If you are growing them use a mulch substrait.......keep misted and add in some egg carton and tissue tubes to hide in! Also makes it easier to remove them come feeding time for your animal! Good luck!
