Opinions on this please:

Where is the best place to buy crickets online? I will need smalls, and about 500-1000 at a time.

Thanks in advance, these bi weekly trips 20miles each are killing me!

I use www.premiumcrickets.com or www.wormman.com. Flukerfarms.com it took the crix 4 weeks to get to my house so I do not use them.

I too have had good experience with www.premiumcrickets.com. That is where I purchased my breeding colony. Thank goodness, that was the last crickets I have ever had to buy.

I just ordered from Premiumcrickets.com last night, hopefully they will be here soon. Just wondering though, I bought 1/8" (10 days) will they be getting out of a cricket keeper through the vent slits? Is it best to use a 5 or 10 gal aquarium?

If your keeper is new and not too scratched up they might not be able to climb the walls very well. They can climb rough and dirty surfaces really well. I have read on some website that you can use clear packing tape around the top of your container and the pinheads can’t climb on it. It is too slick. I don’t know for sure because I haven’t ever tried it.
