 Buying crickets

I am about to buy a Russian Glass Lizard that consumes about twelve large crickets a day.. I would like to buy in bulk and more than likely start breeding as well. I have read all of these posts and have a good idea as how to maintain the environment. My question is do I buy staggered ages so that I can feed and then breed?

Thanks
RD

That is a good idea, because your looking at about 8 to 10 weeks before you have raised adult crickets. I would purchase 5/8 to 3/4 inch and maybe 1/4 inch crickets. If you buy full grown crickets you may only get 1 week of breeding. Starting with 3/4 inch crickets you get their entire adult life, which some of mine live around 4 weeks, after their final shed. Good luck.
