Setting up tank for a crawdad

Hello, I have recently found an abandoned crawdad and was wondering if someone can give me step by step ideas on how to set up a tank for the little fella. I don’t think I want to put it in with my turtles. They act like they are hibernating, the 3 year old does anyway, the baby isn’t. I would just prefer for them to have a tank of their own.
Also, how do you know the difference between male and female crawdads?

You can just use a ten gallon tank with gravel and a lot of places to hide like caves, logs, etc. You can use pretty much any filter, and they must be kept alone in a tank. The turtles would eat it, any fish would probably get eaten or just picked at by the crayfish, and they are cannabalistic too.
You can tell the difference between males and females by looking underneath the tail. You’re going to see some little leg-like things (swimerettes I think), the ones closest to the body in the male are going to be harder, more like legs, and the females’ will be more feathery like the rest underneath. Males also usually have larger claws, but that’s really not a reliable way to identify because sometimes they’re growing back a claw they lost in a fight or while shedding, and it will be a lot smaller even if it is a male.
For food you can give it just about anything; shrimp pellets, feeder fish, algea disks, blood worms, etc.

Good luck, I hope you enjoy the little guy!
