 HELP!

Is it neccesary for a fiddler crab to have land in the tank for the crab to get out and breathe or is it okay for the crab to live underwater their whole live

No, they do need some land area to get out and breath. They can live maybe a couple of weeks to months with no way out of the water, and they need brackish water too (right between salt and freshwater). A lot of petstores sell them in all-water freshwater aquariums, which is wrong and really needs to be changed because way to many people make impluse buys and are overwhelmed when they learn proper husbandry.

oh okay is this the same with crabs to like fiddler crabs that they need land to breathe
