FIDDLER CRAB HELP NEEDED(urgent) 
I bought 2 fiddlers 7 days ago. they were doing good at first. Today i saw one on its back and the other was barely moving so i came to the net for answers. I learned they need brackish water-how do i get that? Also is it absolutely nececcary for them to get out of water sometimes?

brackish water is half water and half salt , yes they need land

Yeah, you need sea salt, and however much you would need for a salt water tank (depending on the number of gallons in the tank), take half of that and add it to the water. If you could lower the water level and slope up the gravel to allow them a place to come out, that would probably be best for a land portion. Without access to land, the crabs could die in about 2 months, and since I’m assuming they didn’t have any land in the petstore where you got them, it was probably long overdue.

First of all, A lot of pet stores sell them as "freshwater" crabs when they can’t survive in freshwater. Some really live in brackish water. I had a fiddler crab that died after a few weeks from not having the proper needs. So if you have it in freshwater, then thats not good. And make sure your crabs can’t get out of their home. They may just be looking for land, so they might crawl out if you don’t have a top. Most crabs in an aquarium like to go out of the water sometimes. Make suer that they can get out of the water. See if your pet store has any covers for your aquarium. Like a screen one. I have a crab and it never gets out because of my screen top. And make sure they have access to land. Those are 2 reasons why your crab isn’t doing well.
