 Any Ideas?:)

Okay I have an available 10 gallon aquarium.I used it for fresh-water fish. We’re going to clean it out and by a new filter. It’s liner is aquarium gravel with fake plants and a aerator,thermometer/heater.Also I have de-chlorinating chemicals.I’ve owned hermit crabs for 2 years now.I’m willing to make some modifications to the tank if needed.Dose anyone have any suggetions for candidates other than hermit crabs.Particularly any fully aquatic species. But semi-aquatic cadidates are fine.

You can put a crayfish in there, they’re fully aquatic and freshwater. You can also try some ghost shrimp which are pretty cute and you can get more than one, and I think they’re freshwater but you might want to google that first to be sure.

Sure, crustaceans do very well alone, especially since many have territorial issues and sometimes revert to cannibalism. Which one are you thinking of right now? As stated, fiddler crabs do need brackish water and a land portion is necessary, they make cute little pets though.
