 What the hell is he doing???

my crawfish sometimes lays on an object on his side, at the surface of the water
and like, blow bubbles or something, its weird, he started doing it a few months ago

The only time I’d even seen mine on their sides was when they were trying to shed. Maybe he just wanted to come out of the water a little, mine used to climb out to breath sometimes.

they will do that to oxiginate the water if its not airrated enough. Also, they will just blow air through their lungs to sort of... clean them out.
