 I have a seriose problem

my dog scruffy and boo used to love each other now all they do is fight i am afrid to walk out one of my doors becuse the other dog might be there and this is serise fighting theres blood evreywhere they role down the stairs both of my dogs have scars the vet says to put one down becuse he said if i put one in the shelter it would be put down , but the thing is the dogs are not dog aggresive they like other dogs and people they just hate each other i can not get rid of any because i live wit my aunt and well she loves booboo the most but i love scruffy evan more i tried the cloth muzzeles they rip them off and attack scruffy now looks like scar from the lion king and bobo’s legs are messed up

If you truely loved the dogs, you would do the right thing and get rid of one of the dogs. I cant tell you whether that is placing him in a different home, a shelter, or euthanizing the dog, but you need to get rid of one. Honestly you are being selfish for keeping both as you are doing it for yourself and not the dogs health/life. Keeping 2 dogs that constantly fight each other, IMO, is animal cruelty.

How old are they? How long have you had them? Are they neutered? If so, at what age were they neutered? What breed are they? Have they had any previous obedience training? Are you taking them to a dog psychologist/behaviorist now?

booboo is scuffys duater they are both spayed but tenchnecly booboo is my aunts they have had obduence training scruffy is a german shepered boderterrer mix and booboo is a germen shepered boorder terrier and shetlend sheep dog mix scruffy when she was 2 and booboo when she was 2 months old i will not euthinize because it is agenst my beleve’s to put any naimal down anless it will die suffering

Ok, really your options are:

Get rid of the aggressive one (be it shelter, rescue, friend, or euthanasia)
Seek professional help from a dog behaviorist that will cost you hundreds of dollars

By doing nothing and letting them fight is less cruel then putting the aggressor to sleep? dont understand that one, but oh well. Good luck.

if you don’t want to get rid of either dogs, then learn to crate and rotate.

if you keep allowing them together you will end up with just 1 dog or none, one will end up killing the other or injuring it so bad it will have to be PTS.


quit making excuses for the dogs . do something about the situation NOW .


call in a professional , no trainer wil turn you down because the dog is "vicious" , it will cost alot but IMO if you love these dogs then you willspend as much money as needed to fix this problem.

this happened before thorn about a year ago and it has gotton worse all the vet and trainers say is put them down or put muzzels on them and shove them toghether the onley muzzels in my area are cloth and they rip them off they need heavy duite muzzelswhich we can not find

Get rid of one be it rehousing, shelter, euthanasia.

-or-

Seek professional help. There are many out there if you just look.


As for the muzzles, order them off the internet.

You can also get muzzles (NOT HALTIS OR GENTLE LEADERS) from PETCO and PETsMART

Unfortunately some dogs were meant to be only children. I sounds like you really don’t have a choice. You have to remove one of the dogs from the situation. Is there a friend or a family member that could take one of them for you? This would allow you to still see your puppy even if she can’t live with you.
