Help on introducing puppy to resident dogs

Can anyone help me on making the easiest transistion on introducing a new pup to my other two dogs? It is a special case where the pup is a rescue and only 4 weeks old at this point. She has no clue on the proper manners and has been tagged by one of the older dogs. She cried and carried on but the older dog left no marks. I dont want her to become fearfull bur i also want her to learn the proper way to meet and greet other dogs. She will be submissive with the other dog when the other dog shows interest and wants to play, but will also keep getting in her face even when the other dog growls and wants her to back off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Erin

well one thing is make sure their always being watched. if ur dog snapps at him, scold both dogs. i mno its hard wen their at that age, cuz tey really dont understand anything. wen ur older dogs growl and such its becuz their telling him to back off, and the pup will learn that soon enuff. wen i brought aith to my mums place, her dog is very aggressive towards other dogs, and w kept an eye on them, scolded both of them wen needed, and things turned out fine, it just takes time. dont giv up.
also a few other things, dont let them eat out the same dish or area. so the puppy knows to not eat from his/her dish. cuz thats sumthing that will make the other dogs mad.also no favoring the pup ect... u have dogs,so u kno wat its like. good luk with this hole situation

Its about proper socilization...

heres where your problem lies, you have older dogs set in their ways and a young pup... the older dogs have THEIR territory, the young pup is thusly invading that territory....interaction should be in short periods, put the pup out ONE AT A TIME with the other dogs alternating not all at once, and most importantly keep them supervised... award attention to both so that the older dog sees the pup is not a threat, encourage play toss a ball or a frisbee, as the dogs play reward, as one other stated do NOT feed out of the same bowl, seperate, place the pup in a crate to eat, the pup will learn that crate is their safe haven, again alternate if one dog goes out with the pup take the other the next time... allow the older dogs to interact with one another, encourage bonding, the dogs are going to ’tag’ one another

Dogs are pack animals, they like any herd animal or any other pack animal have to establish a pecking order, it isnt uncommon, even with horses and cattle you have a lead mare/cow a lead stallion/bull the leads will fight with one another until the others learn place, then the second highest will fight ect until a establishment of rank, better known as a pecking order is established. the pup will bother the older dogs, and the older dogs will snap or scold it... this will carry on until the pup knows her rank but being 4 weeks old is rather young, she needs t he social nature but also needs to grow... the others will adapt, the only time I have ever seen issues with animal behavior is 2 female dogs older not raised together introduced, most females will be alright with a puppy but the older ones tend to be leery...

Horses kick and bite Cows "mount" and kick and charge, dogs bite snarl and ultimately place the lower rank on their back which is a sign of submission, keep watch on the pup vary interaction times supervised until the pup grows a bit more....feed in a crate so the puppy has her safe point established, do not take bones or treats from the other dogs this promoites disdain towards new pup, each need to have THEIR toys seperately and THEIR safe spot...
