Sad news for my friends golden retreiver

My friend bought a golden retriever about 3 years ago, and recently found out that his dog has some kind of disease of its kidney or liver (i forgot) but i guess every dog that was in its same litter all died of the same disease and its the last one alive. Does anyone know if this is a common problem with its breed, or just by chance?

and other diseases.I’ll look up some more info for ya.

Ok, hope this helps:
Golden retrievers can develope lymphoma, which is a type of
cancer that oringinates in lymph nodes or other organs that
contain lymphoid tissue, such as liver, spleen, and bone marrow,
When a dog gets this, the abnormal cancer cells overtake the
healthy ones, leading to a deadly infection, anemia, and organ failure.
If you want the syptoms of this, just PM me.
Thanks,Chelsey
