 Don’t know what’s wrong with my dog!?!?!

Hi all,
I’m usually on the small animals and tortoise forums but I also have a cavalier king charles spainel.
Recently hehasn’t been himself
He’s droolingALOT! Way more than the usual. He’s sleeping and isn’t eating as much as he usually does!
There was a fire in my house last week(luckily got all the animals out) However there is a smell of smoke.Could this be effecting him?
If he’s not beter soon I’ll definatly take him to the vets.
Anyone have any ideas.

I’m surprised you haven’t taken him to the vet yet. If there was a fire and the smell of smoke is still around, it can seriously effect the dog’s health and organs. Smoke inhalation can do terrible things to the lungs of anyone, mostly including our pets who tend to breath it in faster. Take your dog to the vet asap if you think something’s wrong, don’t wait on us to tell you to do so.

I took him to the vet yesterday. Where they found a lump under his chin. The vet did a x-ray and doesn’t think it’s caner. So he’s taking anti-biotics twice daily now. And he’ll be going back for regular check-ups. He’s more active than he was a few days ago. So he’s getting better.
