 Is there a limite??

is there a limite to how much your dog should swim??

cause latley ever hot day(aka every day) I take the dog on a leash and hope on a bike and he pulls me to the beach then i let him off and he goes for a long 1 hour swim while i just go in the water up to my knees and throw sticks for him, then he goes an d visits the fisherman taht come in on there small boats and sometimes plays with the dogs they have with them.
then i call him over hook him back up and we bike home.
then rinse himof with the hoosew, and once a week wash him...

is this okay? like is this to much swimming and to much washing

You might want to consider checking your spelling and puncuation before posting. I’m not being rude. Your post may be difficult for some people to read though. You’ll get better results if you provide better information.

Being in the water so often isn’t going to kill him or any thing.

We can’t really tell you if you’re working him too hard. You have to decide this yourself. You just need to make sure that he takes breaks and relaxes a bit. Even when he seems to be full of energy, he may be really tired. Dogs love to please. So, if you want to play fetch, he’ll want to as well, even if he is exhausted. Basically, just take some time to let him cool down every now and then.

also make sure to compensate energy spent with food, if your dog becomes overly active and you dont change the amount of food he will begin to lose weight a big mistake people make with dogs or horses is running them through high energy ordeals ie races hunt seat for horses, and various competitions and runs for dogs only to lack understanding as to why the dog is growing thin
