August 24th A silent vigil will take place in the name of breed bans and b.s.l i have joined it and so have thousands around the world

Would any one else be interested anyone can join all it takes is light to spark a nation :)

I signed it, I also went to my nehoghbors we are going to have a ’block party’ every house in the neighborhood is coming to our street to light our candles as a large group looking to be a minimum of 16 here and most of us have pits and pit mixes....

How is this suppose to help the dogs ? Is it simply to bring awareness or is it a fund raiser ? I don’t see how lighting a candle is going to change peoples views on whether a dog breed is dangerous or not .

it’s to raise awareness skull...it’s not to change views it’s to show that there are millions of people out there who wish to show that they are fighting for a cause that many people are not aware of it to show that yes we will fight for our right to have our dogs and there are people out there who are still fighting for this cause. vet all you have to do is light a candle any candle, it’s a silent protest against breed bans.

as for skull- do you ever have anything positive to say?

Just to try and prevent an argument I think she just wanted to know what it was for and doing for the breed bans, and I don’t think she was trying to be negative.

I am not saying anything against you no_glory lol. Just don’t want to see another thread be one giant argument.

Read my reply on "NYC Dog Laws ". I have lots of possitive things to say when its called for. I was simply asking a question. I do not think that lighting a candle will do one thing to help the situation. I don’t think it will hurt either .
