 The Runaway is back!!!

So I think it was quite a few months ago when I posted about the pit bull that ran to our house a few times. Well anyway he hasn’t been here in a while and yesterday he came back. The owners said that he has only been out the amount of times that he has came to my house. So I think this dog really likes me.

Anyways I also posted about the owners neighbors and how they said he is extremely aggressive and has tried to attack them, well they recently called the cops on the owners and said that they are scared for their children’s lives well I know for a fact that he is not mean to kids because he has met my young brother and sister and all he did was lick them. The cops have now warned the neighbors that if they keep calling them when there is nothing going on that they will completely ignore their calls about the dog(he has been sent to a behaviorist and they said he was perfectly fine to be around anybody)The cops have also warned them about harassing the owners so I guess in this case they favored the dog.

Well this post was just to show that they don’t always agree about a dog being aggressive just because of it’s breed.

The dog no matter how friendly and nice he is should NEVER be allowed to run loose . The owners should be jailed and fined in my opinion. It is only a matter of time before the dog gets hurt or he hurts someone else .The owners need to be responsible and confine the dog .I would not hesitate to call the police and animal control if I saw it running loose .

The three times that he has gotten loose is when he was in is back yard. They have tried making the higher and they have put him on his leash ,but he is still able to get out.

Around here if you put a pit in a shelter they do not come put where I live they don’t usually allow people to adopt them.

I have raised Great Danes and a Great Pyrenees . If the dog jumps the fence or digs under then he needs to be chained or confined . Preferably the owners will walk him and not let him out unattended but if they must then there is no reason he can not be chained . There are heavy chains and cables that will hold the dog . You can buy a nice cable that has two hooks to attach so that he can have a large area to run in . They are under $15 .They could also invest in a electric fence if they really care about the dog . There is no excuse to let him get out and end up with him run over by a car , shot or let him hurt some one else .

Ya well I have told them about other ways of keeping him confined ,but I now believe that they don’t care. So next time he runs to my house I am going to offer him a home if my parents say it is okay. I went there with my dog to see how he was doing and they didn’t even notice he was trying to get out. When you can clearly here the sound of screen ripping.

I hope my parents and his owners say it is yes!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you care more for the dog than the owners do. Good luck !
