Pit Bull experiences Hey guys first time posting on the forum for a long time, and I’ve wanted a dog for a long time, but was stuck trying to figure out what breed I wanted. I pretty much narrowed it down to Australian Shepherds, but have been open minded. Since the last time I was looking into dogs, I’ve found that I really like Pit Bulls. I met a few of them and thought they were great and I imagine they’re high maintenance because of their playful nature (or the dogs I met anyways) but I wanted to know what you guys thought about the breed. Thanks!

Pit Bull experiences I’ve been around PitBulls since i was about 7 or 8 my friends mom use to breed them for various reasons. I’ve always loved the breed i remember staying at my friends house and we would play and rough house with then dogs and then her baby brother would come in and the dog could be barking and playing then go to the baby and lay down while that baby crawled all over him. I’ve not had a bad experience with pit bulls. I now have my own pit bull which has since increased my liking for the breed. Chaos is a wonderful little dog, they do best as inside dogs and get very attached to their owners, chaos on one occasion ate threw a door to get out to where we were. They are very high energy dogs but pretty easy to maintain we walk chaos once a day and she does just fine. I love the breed thought due to the fact that they fit my lifestyle of being outdoors someday and active then sitting round on the couch they next chaos is always happy to go long as she is with people thought the one thing i will warn you about is make SURE if you end up with a APBT that you start letting it interact with other dogs at an early age. We got chaos when she was a year old, her old owner tossed her out on a chain and that was all he ever done with her...needless to say she does not do well around MOST other dogs while we work on her dog aggression daily she takes time to warm up to new dogs like a week or so....she is like most APBT dog agressive but never people agressive..in fact i think if someone broke in to my home she would probably happily give them a tour of the house and show them the money. The apbt is the only breed i will ever want in my home for as long as they are legal in the u.s.
if you need help looking for a pup let me know ^^ though i will beg you to adopt a dog i know many great breeders who can give u a quality dog.

Pit Bull experiences Will this be your first dog ?How much time do you have for it ? Do you have a large back yard and would it be okay if your renting ? Do you have other small dogs or cats ? There is a lot to consider . They need a lot of attention, training and room to exercise daily especially as puppies .

Pit Bull experiences I love pitbulls. We recently adopted one, since one of my pups passed away from parvo. We needed a playmate for my other dog, so we got him, and hes has 2 boosters for parvo, so he wont get it. Hes really a great dog, he gets along awesome with my rottie. He was abused before and starving then ended up in the pound, and nearly died from kennel cough. Then we adopted him from a rescue! I would say adopt one since there are soo many pits in shelters.

Pit Bull experiences aww i love red and white APBT’s ^^ I want a chocolate/red some day. pit bulls are and have always been my favorite breed...they require a firm owner though one that’s able to handle a dog who will go to great lengths to please which can get them in trouble.
My APBT Chaos
