 Just introducing myself

Hi my name is elizabeth, I currently live in ohio and am attending college to become a vet tech. I can’t wait to graduate, not many people can truely say they get to do what they love and animals truely are my passion. Speaking of animals these are mine, will post pics in a few days. I am living with my aunt and uncle and together our animals make a small zoe. They have two great danes, Joker and Shadow, they breed them but this is shadows last litter, no overbreeding. They also have a mixed breed named chance. My dog is the best I think, she’s a 14 week old german rottweiler puppy and I love her so much, she really lights up my day with her incredible goofy personality. I also have three redtail boas that are mine, they have one and a savannah monitor named tude, he’s awsome and bella the bunny. They have and breed hedgehogs, chinese hapsters, and teddy bear hampsters along with leopard geckos. ball pythons, chamillions, a large cockatoo, yellow headed amazon, and canarys and tons of saltwater fish. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Definetly Future Rotts are wonderful i had one just over a year ago she was called Nelly very famous on Reptic i rescued her at 12weeks from theshelter i was volenteering at on my final year of vet nursing well i asked my parentsfor a dog and i got Kimbå the Dobermann from the same shelter she waa retired police riot dog that wentto a bad home on her retirement well little Nelly came in and i already had Kimbå but Nelly bonded to me instantly i took hrr back to my alartment as she was 12week old and was abused and found being used as a football by some local kids so i took her back to mine i spent my own money on her puppy innoculations so the shelter had extra money to spend i also spent my own money on training classes and took her there myself were ever i took her she always had a jacketon saying "i am a foster dog if intrested please speak to my handler" people did enquire i gave them my number so they could meet me and Nelly in my home amd on our daily outings along with theshelters number but it never went any furtherwhen i had the end of my year atcollege i was heading back to Norway so the kennels gave me a going away present which was dear little Nelly i was really happy and so was Nelly
but not longer after that she kept on passing out, fainting to bright /flashing lights we found out she had cancer brain tumour which melt our hearts as at the time she was only 6month the vet put it down to the abuse she had
when it was a week before her 3rd birthday she went for a operation as her tumour got worse she would always stumble or fall when out but due to it getting wrse when she fell she couldnt get back up evan when she went for the toilet i would need to help hold her to stay in balance but she had her operation and the day after she got back home she passed away on a walk in the wood i didnt no what to do a 160lb dog and just me in the middle of nowhere i carried her as far as i could until some local men seen me struggling it took 4muscle built men to carry her compfortably but evan if i didntmove her she was dead and that was it i just needed help moving her but the vet done a autopsy and her brain had started to bleed again and since she never showed any signs of discompfort or anything we never knew and she proberly didnt either

But thatshow i lost my Rott i hope you have many years with yours and that no one with any type of dog has to go through what i did with Nelly

here is a pic of her :) my big black and tan angel

Cheers very much :) she was a very big built dog no as in a tubby just bred with a huge head bigger than a normal Rotts head it was that big it could of put a pitbull to shame and she a gorgeous huge muscular frame
like Brans male Rott Slash she was a late developer she stayed the height of a springer Spaniel until she was 6/7month old then literally over night she had a growth spurt and was a inch nearly 2 taller than my Dobermann :)

 Just introducing myself

Hello! Welcome to the forum; it’s very addicting (I’m on here at least 3 times a day it seems)!
I’m Jeni, you can call me Jen, and I live in northern Illinois (and no, I don’t live anywhere near Chicago, as people always seem to ask. I live in a farming community of 6,000 people). As Ghastly said in perfect manner, I am currently owned by:
-My cat, Shiloh, who we adopted in July of 2008. He was approximately 6 weeks old when we got him from the shelter, and for those first two months he fought off ringworm, a double eye infection, and a respiratory infection. But now, a year later, he’s healthy, gorgeous, and the biggest troublemaker ever! (knows he’s cute, uses it to his full advantage)
-Two rabbits, Heidi and Cookie. They are brothers from the same litter, and they will be five years old in November (my boys are growing up so fast!)
-I also had a dog, Peaches, who was my first and only dog, and my best friend for 13 years. She went to Heaven on April 9, 2008, and is now playing and running around happily as an agile little puppy again with her pals Kimba and Nelly. We buried her with an unopened box of her favorite dog treats, her bed, and some toys, so I rest assured that she’s sharing them with the clan :-)

Well, that’s about all. Have fun on the forum!
-Peaches and Jeni
