 Puppy meal times

So Milla my 3.5month old APBT isnt eating her meals properly, i got her checked at the vet she hasnt caught anything nor has she got a temprature all in all her health is just fine!
She gets fed at 10am thats her breakfast in the afternoon between 2 and 3 she will get a egg it will either be raw or boiled then at 6 she gets her dinner.
She gets 150g of biscuit for her breakfast and 100g for her dinner with some meat put in (either raw chicken, raw rabbit, ox liver or dog meat) now she generally eats her dinner but ha started leaving some in her bowl not much a couple of mouthfuls which is fine, but at breakfast she isnt eating anything i havw tried giving her 3 50g of biscuit but evan her first 50g she isnt eating i have left it in her cage as if im working i come home and when i get back its all still there i have tried feeding her earlier and later but still the same result!
She only gets bones after her dinner and if there isntbany eggs she will get one then also

Generally i wouldnt fuss but i am as she is 3.5months and needs her food to grow into a big strong girl, any thoughts?

 Puppy meal times

puppies sometimes go off their food for no reason so i would’nt worry too much. i noticed abberline doing this around 4 months so i put her down to 2 meals and increased her food intake in the meals and she started to finish it again, i know they say dont cut down to 2 meals until 6 months but not all puppies are the same. i had this with xero when she was 6 months and unfortunately it was a sign that she was going to be a fussy eater which i’m hoping is’nt the case with milla as its a battle to get xero to eat sometimes, if she does’nt like it she wont eat it. try changing what food she gets for breakfast, she may not like it anymore. hope that helps.

With you saying you had this puts my mind at ease! Only other pup ive had was my Rott Nelly and she LOVED her meal times!
Well if she is gonna be fussy all i say is tough! Shell end up eating it, i have gave her different brand of dog foods but Royal Canin is all she eats that she enjoys and stays in her stomach.
Ive also noticed that with her food she is on Royal Canin Medium Junior at the moment i got a few smaple packs of there Bulldog 30 from there site shipped over i have put a couple of the biscuiys in with her meals (they go out of dat before she turns 1) now they are quite large in size (are designed for Bull breeds to encourage to chew instead of inhaling the food) she will eat these quite happily but once the whole 3 biscuits are eaten she has a rumage round with her paw then will have a pick at the RC Junior biscuits then thats her

Do you think she likes the Bulldog 30 as its encouraging her to use her gnashers? If so should i order Boxer junior food? As the Bulldog 30 doesnt have a puppy meal only adults but when i enquired they rwcommend Boxer and Bulldog food for Bull breeds too

to me she sounds as though she’s either getting full or she’s not that interested in what she is getting. i would suggest feeding her what she will eat as you really dont want a fussy eater, xero can go a whole week without food if she does’nt want what i give her and its always me that gives in :(
there is nothing physically wrong with xero, i’ve had her at the vets, she’s just fussy. maybe mix a bit of meat in with her breakie too? have you considered feeding raw? if you can afford it i would recommend it, mine are fed raw and i would never go back :)

Maybe she’s just not as hungry. Our dogs are about the same age, when Jackson was a puppy he would eat every time i drop the bowl down for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But now sense he has gotten bigger. 4 1/2 months he stopped eating as vigorously, even though his food intake is more massive he generally eats after a long walk when he has burned off a lot of energy. His biggest meals are breakfast and dinner, lunch is just a small portion of dry dog food, he wont take anymore than maybe a cup. maybe she needs to burn more energy..?
