So me and zoe walk to the pet store like everyday, and I mean everyday. A couple times on our way back the neibors mastiffs have come after me, trying to bite me. I always pick zoe up and run for the house when the come after me, I know I should stand and face them, but then I take the risk of zoe getting attacked, I’ll be the one jumping in front getting attcked because there is no way on earth I’m losing my dog to a dog attack.

I’ve called the cops sevral times, even recorded them doing it and the cops don’t ever do anything about it. The one time we talked to the lady that owns the mastiff she came out with her gun and stuck it in my face. She said her dogs are 13 years old and that they can do whatever they want.

To avoid conflict I just try to avoid the dogs, well today me and zoe are walking passed and the kid lets the dogs out and zoe gets so scared, she tried putting her nubb between her legs and was walking behind me whinning. I had to pick her up and carry her, mind you that she weighs 50-60 pounds. The kid was standing over there laughing because my rottweiler was scared of his mastiffs, My puppy was so scared that I had to carry her down to the house. And this kid thought this was funny. I almost thought about letting the male dane out on them, but that would make me as much of a loser as they are.

That’s just sick. Have you tried calling animal control instead of the cops? or is that what you mean by the cops? I’ve heard similar stories like this, where people have called the cops or animal control over and over with a complaint, but they don’t lift a finger to help. I wouldn’t recommend *taking the situation* into your own hands, so to speak, but maybe try walking with some form of protection?

I would recommend animal control also or if you like i’d get a flight over and give the woman a good ol’ piece of me!

I know it will be hard to do but try and not compfort Zoe in awkward situation’s as hugging them show’s them it is fine to be scarred in those type of situation. I know it’s easier said than done but i am just getting Milla not getting used to attention eachtime someone come’s round as when she was younger everyone pesterd her 24/7 despite i said leave her and now they complain she is under there feet looking for attention amd now wish they had listened to me although it has only taken 4days max for Milla to realise. But it is for the bst and you got to think of your spine when she is a adult!!

There is no animal control in my area, you have to call the cops first and if they see the situation fit they will call animal control.

I don’t like to baby zoe, I never do. Zoe is normally very brave and will stand up to anything, but she is scared of those mastiffs. I’ll try to keep her going, I’ll drag her but she doesn’t budge. She is scared of them, I don’t blame her after all the times they’ve come after us. I’ve tried turning around and yelling at them and standing up to them, but the male just charged me.

It surprises me that she acts that way with them, but when we came across the german shepherd barking at us, zoe raised her hackles and started barking back. There was a pit bull at the pet store that zoe wasn’t sure of she posted herself in front of me and watched the dog all the way up to the counter. I’m not worried about zoe not having a spine when she grows up, she has a spine now. But when nothing usually scares a dog and those mastiffs do. I know there is something wrong.

Zoe loves attention, but also knows she has to wait for it to come to her. So when we go the the pet store and she see’s someone she wants to pet her, she’ll sit down in front of them and look at them. I’ve got her pretty well trained. She knows that jumping isn’t aloud and she knows that nipping isn’t aloud. My grandpa’s wife loves zoe, we went to the store one time and she wanted to walk her, she got half way down the side walk and zoe thought I was following her, me and her daughter had went inside. Zoe pulled that woman down the street to get to me, she basically freaked out. Zoe is very over protective of me, why not let it be this one time that saves her from danger. Like I said. I’d rather be the one to get attacked then be the one who has to put her dog to sleep because two 200 pound dogs attacked her.

I mean your spine for carrying her as in the long run it could get damaged very badly!
Zoe has the same personality as my Milla - protective of me, always listens to me, respects and always follows me for a command to be done. Like with Zoe when my partner walks me to work with her i will walk her there and my partner walks her back she stops and turns constantly and is always haply to see me. Were as my partner she likes him but walks all over him as the day i got her at 7weeks and 5days i have disaplined her were as my partner was all play with her and started to disapline her when she was 13weeks so she doesnt respect him and he is always patting my back on how well behaved she is and just wishes he listened to me... But hey.
And i understand i would prefere to take the Mastiff blow than my dog! I just eish i had time to see that Collie take a blow at her the other week!!

Oh gosh, what is it with our dogs and being protective. To bad milla wasn’t bigger, that collie wouldn’t have had the chance lol. Yeah, I know what you mean about my spine being damaged. She’ll be a little braver after she gets a little bigger. They are lucky zoe’s big bubby joker wasn’t there. There wouldn’t be any of that non sense.

There proberly protective as we are such awesome owners :D
haha well that Collie best watch out as she is growing very quickly and it wont surprise me if she does get ahold of it when she is bigger as just a nip will break its ugly face! And i know its wrong to say but if she did go for it when she is older id just stanfld back and watch like the Collies owner done and she wont be euthanised for it amd i wont pay his vet bill ill just do the exact same as he done to me and Milla however if she did attack any dog exclyding that Collie she would get the living daylights beaten out if her by me!
Has Joker ever met the Mastinis?

No, but he really wants to being that they come in his yard and mark it up. He tries to get them through the window and boy he was really mad the day he saw me running down the street from them.

Awww... America isn’t that great. There is one thing I don’t get about joker, Almost all of the great danes that I’ve seen in america have a slender head, it’s not bulky. But joker has german genes and he has a very big, bulky head. Non of his puppies got the trait, even the harlequins.

I love America i think its the bomb to be honest, i visit once or twice a year for a couple of weeks and i just love it. I only go to Orlando, Florida as i am a huge Disney freak lol but i just love it the hot sun, gorgeous landscape, friendly people, great food, great shops and stores and i could just ramble on and on about the things i love there!!

Thats quite peculiar o.O generally pups inherate one or both of there parents gene’s very strange!!

Thats usually how I see them too. Joker is beautiful. I seen this dane when I was at a dragway and I had to get a picture of him. This dog was huge! I think she said he was 200lbs. Had an absolutely MASSIVE head. I had to get a pic next to his owner so you can see how big he is.

Joker doesn’t quite ring in at 200 ibs lol, that black is beautiful though. I personally don’t think the narrow heads look as good with cropped ears as the block heads

Most don’t get quite that large.. Thats why I had to get a pic of him. All of your dogs are excellent examples of their breeds though!
