Need some help with a stray Dane... 
I’m part of the spay & neuter program in my county and we help shelters and rescue groups when they ask. We got an e-mail from a rescue group. A female Great Dane has been wandering around for 2 weeks. Her owners left her in a bedroom for 12 hours a day with no socialization. They can’t even catch her. Somebody saw her scratching at the door of a house where another Dane lived, so maybe somebody can coax her to get close with another dog. I need ideas on how we can catch her and get her off the streets before she gets hit by a car or something worse.

All i can think of is someone leaves there garage and/porch doors open with a food and water dish to try an intice her and the other thing i can think of is a neck snare (the pole with the slipknot police etc use)

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately she bolted into traffic and got hit by a car this afternoon. She died immediately. I hope her owners fell like crap for keeping her locked up in a little room all the time and not socializing her. She’s dead because of their negligence.

Ah hell thats bought tears to my eyes! All i can say is she is in a better place now away from the neglect she recieved. bless her cotton socks :(
