Teacup / Toy Poodles in CT area I am not saying this to be mean or anything but why are you wanting to breed your poodle? Unless she is a quality representation of her breed I would never breed her. Espeically if she is as small as you say. If she is 4 lbs or under I would never risk breeding her. If you do end up breeding her please make sure you get hooked up with a good breeder in your area. That way you have someone to lean on and get advise from. You always want to breed to your dogs faulst. by this I mean if you dog has ears that are a little too high then find a male that has perfect ears in the propper placement. Some faults are too extream and should never be bred. By these I mean if you dog has genetic flaws such as eye problems, jaw or bite problems, luxating patellas, agressiveness, extream shyness, or seizures. Dogs carring these traits should never be bred by anyone. Also if you are going to breed you should be willing to back up your puppies with atleast a 2 yr health guarantee against genetic defects that run in the toy poodles. I would also want to do an extensive research on the background of your poodle and its colors to find the best mate. Breeding isnt a decision to be taken lightly. I research and learned about the poodle for 10 years before I started breeding them.
