I don’t believe in the mythological dragon, and not every myth has truth in it.

Anyway, the idea of the dragon is thought to have come from the discovery of old dinosaur bones and not having a creature to attribute them to.. so they made one. Also theorized that animals like alligators and large boids contributed to the myths.

I think that they may have existed at one point. Mabey not fire breathing things, but an undescovored dinosaur or something that fits the description of a dragon. Not everything has been figured out, so who knows? Mebey there really WERE fire breathing dragons!
Personaly, I’m not saying there were, I’m not saying there arn’t but I don’t see why there couldn’t be dragons.

sure i believe in them, and one day someone will stumble upon an area where there are tons of dragon bones like an elephant grave yard, they say those are true yet don’t find many. so if so hard to find an elephant grave yard and it’s above ground just think how hard it will be to find the dragon grave yard buried under the ground.

I believe that dragons could have been real. I mean it is very possible. it’s just no one has found bones yet. Although bones may never be found. I would like to believe they were real, I love dragons, they are my favorite mythological creature besides the werewolf. (This is just my opinion about Dragons)

Dragon bones are probaly all over the place...Silly humans. They get satisfied with information too quickly instead of trying to find anything that they missed...
I am writing oa story about dragons. It’s also fun to believe in dragons, aliens, and such. It gives us something to talk about.

Wow this is getting out of hand! Fire does not and will not ever come from a living thing’s insides. Dragons are just a mythological being and nothing more just as trolls, ogres, Hercules, etc. There were dinosaurs and they were huge reptiles with small brains wiped out by something we will never know for sure. End of story.

Supposedly there are two kinds of chemicals that when mixed, they become napalm. Don’t know how true this is but I don’t see how it could be completely impossible for an animal to have those two chemicals in two separate glands and mixed them as he sprayed it out of his mouth. What about the beatle that shoots the hot stuff from his butt? One of the chemicals in that mixture is the same stuff they use in rocket fuel. I saw that on Buggin with Rudd, or something like that.

even tho this is kinda old
they discoverd a dragon(well some what)
it was on animal planet a few months ago
and in some magazines i think its a movie now to
but the lizard walked on 4 legs and could fly like the dragons in the myths they also do think they could blow fire they had a weird set of extra bones in there throat that rubbed together and could probobly create some kind of spark then when the lizard would expel gass it could do so from its throat making fire

If the program about dragons that you say was called "Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real", then it was about what they MIGHT find, IF they found any real dragons.
About this throat thing: The animal I know that comes closest to fire breathing is the bombadeir (spl?) beatle. It has 2 chemicals that it mixes that burns it’s enimeis when shot tout through... I think it’s butt.
I couldn’t guess how anything would be able to stand something like that in their throat, but I think that if you do enough research, firebreathing can become more and more realistic, you know?
I do bleive that dragons existed at one point. Some undescovored dinosaur or something. But yeah, I believe. There is no reason why they couldn’t exist, you know?

Reptiles are ancestors to birds. Hence the fact you find lizzards with wings. they were just early birds. They did a show on Dragons a while back and proved the whole fire breathing was plausable, but not probably. Meaning it could in theory, but not in our world.

i wish they where real, imagine walking to school then being chased by a massive fire breathing dragon, how good would that be, but scary! i love bearded and water dragons, theyre soo cool but i dont have one.. just like the way they look, bloody fantastic!!!
