These animals aren’t exactly exotic but I have a Persian/Himalayan feline,an Australian Shepard/pit bull canine, a peached face lovebird,and two green anoles.

I have the following:
1 male american short hair cat - Tweeter
1 female flemish giant rabbit - Dooney
5 firebelly toads - 2 babies (no names yet!) and 3 adults - 1 male: Kermit, 2 females: Bombina and Scuba Steve (the babies and the adults live in there own tanks)
1 male ? paddletail newt - Popito (pronounce poe-pee-toe) - in his own tank
1 male betta - Cobalt - in his own tank

The following are all in a tank together:
3 African Dwarf Frogs - no names yet
3 ghost shrimp + a bunch of babies that the female was carrying when I got her
3 fleshwater clams

a bunch of fish - mollies (which I breed for food), guppies (which I breed for food), algae eaters, cory catfish
some crickets and flightless fruit flies - breed both

I want to get a baby bearded dragon but that will have to wait for a little while. I have had just about every type of pet you can imagine. I have had animals for about 20 years now and can not see life without them.

I have an update! I got 4 more ghost shrimp last night and the 3 females are carrying eggs . I just love ghost shrimp-they are so much fun to watch. And sadly one of my african dwarf frogs was dead in the tank when I got home from work yesterday . This is one the new ones so I think the transport was just too much for him-he was the tiniest of them all. Oh-I also got 4 new guppies to breed-3 girls and 1 boy and they are all so beautiful-the male look like a tiger! I seriously have to take pics and post some-just gotta find the time (I am at work right now ).

I have a small yet slowly growing zoo(not nearly as large as some people’s here).But here they are:
1 Male Green Iguana, Diamond
1 Female Red Iguana, Knight (She’s my sister’s)
1 Male Starred Agama, Rex
1 Female Butterfly Agama?, Star
1 Female Leopard Gecko, Name is kinda undecided but we’re calling her Vivi for now
1 Male (unknown) Cat, Sora (Who is getting neutered and declawed in two weeks!)

If I can find a camera I’ll try to post some pics.

I’d rather spend money on them then myself, lol. It also helps to get insane discounts on pet supplies and free crickets, worms, etc. : )

Plus, I don’t have to spend any money on fosters.

oh no you don’t!!!!!!I actually have in my presence a frilled dragon!a guyana collard swift!not one but two YES TWO!!!!!!tremper giants(currently busy makin more tremper giants)thats a gecko!got 7 not even kiddin seven collard lizards /and on top of that outside my door step there are thousand comunities of sagebrush lizards! they make great pets/but must be hibernated come winter or they die of some of no rest for the wicked shock!anyway I live close to a really great pet store and it has access to many wounderful exotics!oh yeah yeah I almost forgot my newest edition to the family /it’s a female black and white tegu!do they eat cat food??????thanks Chip!

i no doubt have the smallest list but its considered a zoo since i live in a town house but here goes:
3 dogs 2 adult males tucker and eddie,and a baby female gorgia(eddie is a weiner dog,tucker is a husky cross, and gorgia is a catahoula leopard dog cross treeing walker coonhound)...
2 cats one adult male who is twice the size as garfeild named sweep, and a female kitten named mimi...
1 long toed salamander named sir newton of british columbia(newton for short), a toadlette of some sort named jonothan or jonah(not sure if s/he is a she or he)

so as you can see where i live its is considered a zoo
