Squirrel with broken legs!! any hope? answer quickly 
i was hanging out wit my friends and we like heard a noise in the bush, and we looked in the bush and it was a squirrel. it was like, draging its legs on the ground. i was so scared a cat would get it so we put a blanket over it and put it in a really big crate with a blanket over it. i got my mom to call animal control but nobody answered and then teh spca but nobody answered again. so my mom called my auntie because she works for animla control and we thoguht she might know what to do. she told us to call her cities emergencie spca and they are coming but its like an hour away. my moms bf said that they will just put it down but i feel so bad for it. i know its better if its put out of its misery but i want to know if they will try to help it. like maybe put splints on its legs or something? please help i feel so bad for it.

Sorry but without some sort of sedation the squirrel will probably pass through the night of shock.

it lived a couple hours untill the spca picked it up. like 3 hours. the lady said that both the legs were definetly broken. i dont really know if they put it down or not. she said that the vets would look it over.

if your waiting for the spca to come all you need to is to put a blanket, a water bowl and a soft clean suffed animal you dont need, that no other animal has been on, make sure all of it is safe first. good luck. i hope they come quickly!
