what crityids do u think are real? (Bigfoot in washington state, loch ness monster ect.) there are hundreds. a few that are proven are Okapis, pygmy elephants, pygmay hippos, mountain gorrials and others.

I know what you’re talking about. Crypitds are animals/creatures that how been seen but not proven like Big Foot, Loch Ness Monster, etc. Some I think might exist (big foot-maybe, loch ness monster-yes but some sort of fish) and some I do not think exist (chupacabras-no, mothman-no). I like to watch the tv show Destination Truth on the sci fi channel,they investigate crypitds-the host was on Ghost Hunters once as a host when they did the live halloween taping and once as an investigator. I think a lot of crypitds are passed down from generation to generation and become folk lore and they do not really exist. I watched a program on Big Foot, about the famous first video of big foot some guy dressed up like that and his friends video taped him from what he is saying. I don’t believe in ghosts, spirits, and similar things, despite the fact that many shows can "prove" that they exist. Have you guys noticed that there are no real reports of spirits haunting peoples’ homes? If incidents involving spirits happen so often, then why aren’t they in the newspaper and such? The thing people need to realize is that any thing can happen on telivision. There are a lot of ways to edit films and make it seem like a ghost or some thing is there.

I don’t believe in Big Foot or the Yeti. We have no evidence that supports their existence. There have been multiple cases where people dress up as big black, furry creatures and walk around the woods. There’ve also been people who make molding of large feet and stamp them into the ground to make it seem like some large creature walked by.

A cryptid is a creature that has been seen and has trace evidence like bigfoots foot prints but yet a body hasn’t been found


one thing about the chupacabra
what else could mutilate an animal like that

another thing is that most people are so scared when they go to autorities after a ghost attack they look like cooks

i cant say i belive in the lochness monster or bigfoot in washington. i think its possible in the himalyas thoe. i do belive that there are large amounts of undiscoverd crypdids in the worlds oceans. and on the mutilation with chupacobras? i think its human when blood is sucked completly from them. they have current news reports on cryptozoology.com but dont trust the fourm....

I really WANT to believe they are real. I think some have more possability then others but I hope none are EVER prooven. Can you imagin what people would do if there was solid proof Nessie exhisted? or worse, captured? Same with Bigfoot or Yeti? People would exploit it, take it out of it’s environment, test it, put it on display in a cage. How horrible. I just want to go on believing that there are some wonders in the world that can never be explained and will always be untouched by humans.

i beleive in hauntings and ghosts.
well, mostly from very true...experiences.at least 3 times.well actually if you count the same ghost,many experiences. it’s almost impossible to not be paranormal experiences.but i’m probably not going to get into that or everyone will think i’m crazy or mental, but it was very creepy.

i’m a little sceptical about bigfoot. that is probably just something made up or a hoax.

loch ness monster is probably a living survivor of the prehistoric species plesiosaurous and there actually may be many living survivors of the species but people just think it is one single plesiosaur.i think there may be isolated populations of them. like one population in lake loch ness and one in lake champlain.

we do not know all about these creatures, and that leaves to many possibilities, such as one i believe that covers up the unknown factor. we humans are smart, but we may not be the only ones. these creature could just be as smart as us, but hide because we humans kill anything that is scary or stronger than us, in truth i think we can be pretty stupid =) but yeah, they hide from us cause theyre smart =)

Most Cryptids that have existed for well over a thousand years seem rather fake, however a lot of the newer ones seem more believable.

The real question is why we haven’t taken better measures at finding these things, and if nature has taught us something it’s that if bigfoot exists there are multiple, same goes with the lochness. The largest problem is for water-dwellers such as the lochness it’s almost impossible to ’scan all of the ocean’ without a problem. With bigfoot if he’s known to be ’in a specific state’ it’s nowhere near as hard.

The thing is that scientist are sceptical and unless they can disect it they don’t (some might but they are paid to be sceptical)believe. thats where cryptozoologist come into play and believe me they are looking

Yea, I was interested in a degree in cryptozoology, but figured it would be a field that doesn’t offer much growth among other things.

While it’s definitely interesting, cryptozoology seems to be a field that honestly just isn’t self-sustaining and if people were really to find any of these animals, or prove them false it would eventually lead to the field disappearing, so in other words you only truly get paid to NOT find these animals, which makes it a skeptical job in the first place, because who would hire you to do this?
