 Prarie dog/ canadian squirrel

ok so i went to a reptile swap. and i bought what the man said was canadian squirrel. so i came home and looked it up online and only thing i found that looked like it was a prarie dog!? are prarie dogs also called ground squirrels?

im not quiet sure... but prarie dogs lve in the ground and a kinda like meerkats. they eat grass, hay and are herbavores. sorry!!

theres actually an animal called the ground squirrel, but its not a prairie dog. they’re also called flicker tails. they have a bunch at the local pet store

I have a praire dog. they don’t get very big. mine is about the size of a large guinnie pig (spelled rt?). you need to be care what you feed it because they are little pigs and will over eat and get too fat which will cause health problems. if you have a pic i can tell you if it is a pd.
