I doubt it, and if you plan on keeping one, they do not make good pets whatsoever.

Well, I’ll change that. For an inexperienced or unprepared owner, they can end up being quite the handful. Capybara are the largest rodents in the world. They love to swim and must have non-toxic items to chew, such as birch branches. They are also known for their digging habits, and therefore must have a strong, resilient enclosure. They can live up to twelve years, and it is best to locate a veterinarian which can care for them before the animal is acquired (this could take some time.) Capy’s eat grasses and aquatic plants that would have to be supplied daily, and need space to graze. I’ve read about people using kiddie pools for swimming activity, although I would recommend a pond. Also, it is best to have a pet capy neutered/spayed...I’ve heard many who keep them as pets say they become aggressive and difficult if they are left intact. If you are a owner who is prepared and has done research however, they can make great and fun pets. These are mostly main points though.

If you want a large rodent you could get a patogonian cavy
