Of course you need a good shelter and fresh food/water, shears for their coat and nail scissors for clipping their toe nails. Care of their fur, nails, teeth, etc. is really the most complicated part if you don’t have experience with it, so I would suggest finding a class or something or just someone experienced with them (volunteer at a rescue) to get some experience doing these things before bringing the llamas home because you’ll save a lot of money being able to do it yourself and you don’t want to get them before you know how. Where are you located? Perhaps I can help you find some good places to start. |
