I have owned hedgehogs for a while and this is what I use. I use solid bottom cages (no bars or mesh) that are about 3 square feet. I feed them Iams original cat food, I tried giving them a food similar to the wild hedgehog food on the website and they didn’t seem to like it. I use aspen shavings for substrate. I’ll be happy to answer any questions that you have.

just put a digital thermometer in there to make sure the temps dont get low.. a cage like 2 big sterilite/rubbermaid containers no lid with a tube to go to both side is a good cage (a 3ft cage is minumum but a bigger cage is better)or a rabbit cage with wires on the side/top and the bottom is plastic i think there superpet brand..also iams isnt high quality enough for a hedgehog really the only way to get a high quality cat food is online like chicken soup for the cat lovers soul, royal canin, conove heres a good link CLICK HERE also that forum is good in general for good hedgehog info but dont forget that the first part of the forums are about chinchillas lol...

Kikiii, do u live in england? I do but I couldnt find chicken soup for sale in the uk. Also ive spoken to a lot of people and most agree iams or go cat is alright. I think ill probaly use iams because most people use it. also i might get some of the wild hedgehog food and mix it in with the iams cat food.
