Assuming they were freshly frozen when purchased, nutrients will start to deteriorate after about six months. So I buy smaller mice than the snake actually "should" be eating, and give several per feeding, so the bag gets used up while they’re still good. The more snakes you have that eat the same food type, the less of a problem this will be, obviously.
