 Silk worms and plant leaves

ok i know that silk worms can only survive off mulberry leaves, but will they willingly eat something that wasnt mulberry? i believe my neibor has 2 mulberry trees so i swooped off some leaves and offerd it to a selected group of silk worms and they are eatingg them.

so, if they arnt mulberry the silk worms should die i assume but would they even attempt eating leaves?

from what i understand mullberries are the only thing they can eat and survive off of however I dont know anyone whom has tried to feed them anything else... gl!

i just read that they "will" eat lettus but will die, idk if this means they will eat anything that isnt mulberry....

i guess i’ll know tomarrow hu?
