UH...I can’t explain but help
Hi I need help. I live in Colorado and my dad works for UPS and a fence lizzard was stuck in a box from california. I love lizzards so naturally he brought him home to me. He’s about 5 or 6 inches long with the tail. I have him in a small kritter keeper for tonight but I am going to the store tomorow to get him set up. I have a 20gal tank that my beardy just out-grew so that will be his home . . . but i need to know what kind of substrate and what heat source he needs. i would just let him go but it’s starting to get cold here and since they are not native to this area . . . I am experienced with beardys but he is so little . . . i just want to make sure i take care of him. Any help you can give me I would greatly appreciate! Thanks!

UH...I cant explain but help it could be that the ants’ anthill got destroyed. or someone killed them with bugspray. or they just moved cuz bunches of them were mysteriously disappearing O_o. there are several possible reasons. if they don’t come back just find a new source or move on to other bugs like crickets.

UH...I cant explain but help You might wanna take him to a vet and get rid of the heat pad! They can getta burn from dat’! Also, yes lizards stay on your hand because they like warmth and a good view, they are curious and like to watch stuff. (P.S. Don’t feed him ants, he needs more sutable food such as crickets which aren’t to expensive.)

UH...I cant explain but help AND DO NOT USE CALCI SAND!!!!!
its bad for lizards.
All you need is some regular old dirt.
make it deep. they like to burrow.
and put branches, they also like t climb. forget the heat pad and put in a reptile heat lamp and they ABSOLUTLY require UVB lighting.
