So what happens to the crickets  well my lizard has been doing fine for the last few months, and i noticed her growing bigger too. i still feed her the small sized crickets (the big ones still look too big, her body only like 3" long). when she eats, they’re gone in one bite. she doesnt even appear to chew. so i always kinda wondered, what happens to the crickets once she ate them? do they die right away or what

So what happens to the crickets  i’m not super sure on what happens to them, but i think they either suffocate or get killed by the stomach acid. either way they die slowly. to judge how big a cricket you can feed her, use the size of her head. a cricket should be about the size of her head or smaller. but i think you can continue feeding her small crickets since 3 inches is pretty small (if you include the tail). if 3 inches is her body only, then you can probably move on to medium sized crickets.
