 Western or eastern??

hi. i have what i believe to be a male fence lizard. his name is kenny and has blue on the sides of the belly and chin. his back is grey with like waves of light brown. how do i know if he really is a male since i’ve seen pics of males and "females" with blue on the chin too...and what he is? like eastern fence or western? thank you for any feedback...

i heard that if he has yelow under its legs then its a boy but if it doesnt then its a girl...but i have i think 2 male fence lizards ..... and one kinda big and the other one is really small....
