 What ants can they eat?

i have a fence lizard that is still in its egg, but when it hatches out can i feed it any ant or only 1 or 2 kinds?

I fed my hatchlings the smallest mealworms I could buy, then the smallest crickets. They went more for the crickets than the mealworms but they were available to them for the first week. After that, I went only small crickets. They ignored everything else because it didnt move fast enough to catch their interest.

I only thought about ants after they were a few months old. I should try finding some non fire-ants sometime and see if my lizards would take em.
