 I have one little question

If you’re going to use your heat rock do not turn it on. Cut the cord or barry it. Some lizards do not know when to get off of them and they end up burning their insides. Use a basking lamp to keep one side of the tank at basking temps and keep the other side cooler. Also place basking rocks on the side of the tank to where the basking light is. Basking helps them digest. and rocks heat up from the light, and hold heat. Gut load your crickets with a nutrious gutload. Your local pet shop should know as to what, if you don’t. Dusting works, but I bet it tastes like dog shiz. Also, purchase a UVB/UVA light. Preferably a flourescent tube type bulb with fixture. Those act as the sun delivering nutritions that the natural sun does. In my belief, do not feed your lizard meal worms; it’s rare but there is a possibility that they can compact your lizard. Meaning, the meal worms hard shell makes them difficult to digest. Which is sometimes fatal. Stick to crickets, flies, and fruit fries to make his/her diet more interesting.

 I have one little question

Question, where are you getting your fence lizard? Buying? Catching?

I’ve been searching online for breeders and or shops that sell them and I have had no luck...

You would make my day if you know of a website or a place that sells them.

Thanks

 I have one little question

Having heat rocks on are a no no. They will burn the lizards insides if you aren’t careful. It’s best to just buy one of them red light basking bulbs with an aluminum surround to produce and direct heat, and just leave it on 24-7, and above the basking rocks. It will keep that side of the tank warm and it will heat the rock for basking. It works just as good. As long as you direct it towards the basking areas.

As far as searching online, I have searched and searched. So far I have found one place, but they don’t have a clear image. and they’re not what I’m really looking for. I was hoping to find eastern fence lizards. and I guess that before it all boils down, I will just have to go back to FL, catch some, and send them out here over night. Unless, for some odd reason I get lucky and find a breeder that is selling them. Which the odds of that are very slim.

 I have one little question

I’m in Utah right now. But debating upon moving back home(FL). I’ve been gone for three years too long. Most likely I will just catch some lizzies back at home. Not sure yet though, I have quite a bit of things to get handled first.

 I have one little question

Yeah the majority of it is beautiful, but just like every other state; it has it’s own down falls. You should post some pics of them lizards you got, if you haven’t already...

 I have one little question

I know this message is REALLY old, and you probably found a place to get one, but ReptilesnCritters.com is okay. It’s just that the shipping is too much. Reptilecity.com is much cheaper. I know YOU probably know places already but I found this to be a great oppurtunity to say this. I just can’t because my mom wont let me. We are just hoping they have em at the expo we are going to in November. And besides, I cant find juveniles, thats what im lookin for. I want adults, yeah, but I need a baby too. So visit them they are awesome and reptile city even tells you how to pack and ship reptiles.
