New to fence lizards need help!!

So i have had many monitors and i still have one and i have a couple beraded dragons but I caught a western fence lizard(blue belly) yesterday and took it home and set up a nice tank for him. Are they hard to keep alive? i mean i have lots of experience with bigger lizards but this is a first time trying this. i put some tiny crickets in for it but he is yet to eat which isn’t a surprise as I am sure he is stressed. anyways, i have a heat light with about a 100 degree basking temp and i am not using any loose substrate as he is kinda small and i don’t want him to get impacted. I use shelf liner for my beardies and i will use it for my leopard gecko i am getting so that is what i used. he has a little rock hide i built for him and a big log to climb on that elevates up towards the basking spot. do they need lots of humidity? thanks for any help.

I have had mine for about 3-4 weeks and I was told by the the owner of a pet store to feed him a small cricket every other day. He also said not to put more than one cricket in at a time because at night they will eat at the lizard and eventually kill it if there are too many in there. I have also caught live flies and put in his cage - he loved that too! Everything else you are doing sounds like what I have heard to do. Good luck I have enjoyed mine.

i have about 5 years of experince with them and their tons of fun. they arent exterimley hard to take care of. first if its an adult they eat every other day but babies every day. thay also like desert areas so make shore it deserty. thay need a red light at between 90 and 95 degrees in the basking spot. and the cool end in the 80s. they also can have sand and other things never once has one of my lizards die of impaction. other than that i think you should be fine
