 Bulging Eyes

I was watching Winky this morning and she did the most surprising thing! She blinked her eyes a bit, then her eyes just bulged out like a frog!!!!!!!!!! She was like this for a few seconds, then she blinked a lot, then she turned back to normal. She blinked a lot after that, then she ate a cricket.

This just happened right now, and my mom told me to write on RepticZone. My hands are still trembling right now as I write this. It was as if she would go to Lizard Heaven write after that!!

Please write what happened to my Winky!

I’ve seen sorta the same thing every now and then with my lizards. I think it has to do with shedding. Mist her some either in the morning or around noon with a spray bottle and it should help. Just not right before lights go out for the night.

She’s shedding? I didn’t know that! She looked pretty white and her skin was kinda loose... I guess that’s why! Any tips on helping Winky shed?

Wow, that’s never happen to mine yet... I guess spray her leaves & add a small water dish, maybe a little bark cave for her to rub against. Shedding is natural & you should just let her do it on her own, don’t worry about it to much.

She just shed. She has gotten bigger. I’m gonna get her a new tank.

She is actually shedding now i saw a peice of skin on her that was pointing upward.

PS my fencie won’t go in the water bowl. What if she looses her toes or somethin since its shedding time?

Mist her with some water. It will help the shed a bit. Or you can let her run around in a tupperware container with a little bit of water in it to cover her feet and more, just not a lot to where she can drown.
