Baby pics i hate to say this but i have NO IDEA!!! we found one and thought it was a boy.... till it laid eggs. however i read on a website that when they are very young it it hard to tell. you have to wait till they’re older and then the will develpo some blue color on there bellies if they are boys and irridesent light greenish color if they are girls. you might wanna give it a unisex name like "Pat" or "bobbi" till you figure out the sex LOL . he/she is way cute though! oh and wikipedia online is where i get really good info just type in fence lizard in the search tab!

Baby pics The whole peanut can thing is too funny. Happy to see everybody made it. Best of luck to you and your new babies.

Baby pics How did you do the peanut can deal? Did you just have it in the tank with the lizard? Did you keep it warm or did they just hatch on their own? did you try to monitor the temp and humidity, or just let it be?

Baby pics i used a peanut can because i knew the aluminum inside would help it retain heat and moisture. i got wet dirt from the woods around my house, that they no doubt would have been laid in anyway, and filled the can about 3/4 full. then i dug a hole out with a spoon and carefully laid the eggs in it. i slit cuts in the lid and placed it on the can. then i put the can in a sunny window a left it there indeffinetly so that they would get the same amout of light and dark every day just like if they were burried outside. i looked in the can every couple of days. I put them there at the end of May and the hatched in August! i didn’t do any temp monitoring except, i live in Missouri so i put a moist sock filled with warm raw rice around the can a few times when it was cloudy outside for 2 or 3 days in a row. just to keep them warm. one day my cat was hovering over the can, so i figured uh-oh something must be moving in there!

Baby pics Wow, I’m not a ’daddy’ yet if you can call it that, but I wanna see what these ppl with $60-100 incubators & equipment think about you high-tech Planters can. Anyone? I was gonna go with a cheaper option on the incubator if a time I need to arose, but I was gonna do a little more than that

No Eggs Those are great pics!
We have 2 males and 1 female and have had them since they were very young. All three are now about fully grown but the female doesn’t lay eggs. Any clue as to why?
Good luck with your little guys!!

Baby pics Kawika - You probably have brother and sister fence lizards that you’re trying to bred. Stop that for one, and two, maybe the girl is still young. How long have you actually had her?
