 Uh-Oh??

Parasites are black ranging in size from microscopic to being visible to the naked eye. These blood suckers live under the scales in the arm pits, around the neck, and even on the throat, back, belly, tail, and legs if seriously infested. Reptile relief did wonders for me on parasites. I treated the lizards and the tank every 4 days, at three times. I treated them today the third time and they are completely clean of parasites.

It’s quite hard to determine if the lizard actually has a disease; acting lethargic, could mean a few things. Hungry, too full, dehydrated, ill, compacted, and list could go on.

Not sure if you know, but you need UVA/UVB lighting for these lizards, and a heat source. Avoid direct sunlight if they’re in a glass tank.

Post pictures!!

Google it! I think it’s against terms to advertise on here lol

Give the lizards a rub down with it every three to four days at a total of three times, or until you see no mites on the paper towels. It should only take a nine to twelve day treatment. Coat the lizards(not soak) with the meds, and put them on paper towels in a different tub for treatment. Allow reptile relief to work for twenty minutes, then take out the paper towels and put some luke warm water in the tub, so that they can swim a bit and dilute the meds while forcing the dead mites off. Not a lot of water though, just enough so that they won’t drown but can wiggle around. You should see mites on the paper towels, and even in the water after the wiggles! When spraying the tank, be sure to rinse it well because Reptile Relief will also kill crickets.

You’ll also need to treat the cage with the stuff, and get ride of all of the decorations and substrate because they can in fact be infested already. I freezed and put some of my decorations under water for long periods of time because I didn’t want to get rid of them lol that also works to kills mites, I believe.

I avoided spraying the tank decorations because my lizards in fact lap water off of them when I mist the cage, and I’m not sure if the meds will harm them if ingested.
