Where did the Crickets go? Oh, I probably told you in my other posts inadvertently, before I even got around to reading this question. ... Your rocks, your sand, your everything, provides a ton of great little hiding spots for crickets of any small variety. IF you can and your lizards are not in the tank, pick up up the whole thing and look at the bottom of it underneath the terrain. Unfortunately, these hiding places make it very hard to feed your pets, because ordinarily fence lizards find terrain where these hiding spots are not around in order to hunt more easily when necessary. I know it looks cool, but it might have to go. These rocks and sand also make cleaning and keeping up your tank harder. I guess you could feed them a lot and they’ll catch a couple a day as they come out of hiding, but this means you are not controlling their diet and you can not be sure of their intake and they might not make regular poop and they might not stay healthy.
A couple crickets might have been eaten, but two baby fence lizards naturally only eat a few tiny crickets a day, and two adults might eat 10-12 crickets in a whole week. So watch out for over-feeding.
