 New eggs

my female southern fence lizard has just laid her eggs (7) in soil (in the plant container) that is in the tank. We have a male and i am pretty sure the eggs are fertile. I am worried that the male will bother them. Should i leave them alone? ( they are not buried and one was actually laid on the basking rock). I would like to hatch them. What would be the best way to do it. I do not have an incubator but will get one or make one. Will I need another heat source? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I will try to post pics of the eggs and tank. thanks

You can get an incubator here: Link

The eggs may not survive by the time the incubator arrives, unless you are able to keep them at a steady 82 degrees. Take them out of the potting soil (That’s bad for even adult lizards) and use moist vermiculite that you have squeezed the moisture out of, leaving it damp. Make sure to keep the eggs facing the same way they were before.
