If you want something that’s inexpensive get a leopard gecko. Because sometimes baby bearded dragons can at as much as 50 crickets a day.

Well I would, but you’d have to have some experience with reptiles and a lot of space. Like we said before just settle with a leopard gecko. If you don’t want a leopard gecko just get something like a crested gecko.

#2272681 WhenAllFails View Profile	Message To: KitKat12   In reference to Message Id: 2272658  What should I get ever thought about getting a skink? i personally own a full grown female broad headed skink. they get get 13" long at max and when full grown will eat berries as well as crickets, moths, and pretty much whatever else they can fit in their mouths. mine really likes blue berries.

#2272724 WhenAllFails View Profile	Message To: KitKat12   In reference to Message Id: 2272714  What should I get i’m not selling Lati, though i guess i kind of made it sound that way. oops. anyways, a quick google search brought up a place that does sell them. generalexotics(DOT)com, not sure if they are good or not though. but it’s $100 for one (WOW! ) but other types of skinks that i would recommend getting if you can’t get a broad headed since they are hard to come by in the pet trade. (i got lucky and got one at a reptile expo for only $10) Schneiders Skink, pretty common to find in the trade. gets 15" in length (with tail) fire skink, can be somewhat tricky to find in the trade. gets 14" in length (with tail) great plans skink, i am having a hard time finding one. so i’m not sure it’s statues in the pet trade. gets 15" in length (with tail) and last but not least, the five line skink. very common to find either in the wild or with private breeders. young five lines look exactly like broad headed skinks when young, can be hard to tell them apart if you don’t know what you are looking for. they only grow a maximum of 8" (with tail) they also when fully grown will sometimes snack on berries. they are basically smaller versions of broad headed skinks. they also have an awesome latin name. "Eumeces fasciatus" which, if you ask me, suits them very, very well.

#2272732 WhenAllFails View Profile	Message To: KitKat12   In reference to Message Id: 2272727  What should I get haha, alright. anyways yeah. before i got lati i was going to get a fire skink for this one reason. in africa (where they come from) they think that the fire skink is a bad omen. and if you see one you should drop all your plans for the day. so my thought was: "i should get one, and whenever i don’t feel like doing anything for the day i will say i’m superstitious and say i saw a fire skink." sounded pretty sound proof to me. haha.

Really, just stay away from actually impulsively getting any reptiles until you actually do some research. Asking questions is perfectly okay, but please try not to substitute it for a good book.
