 Back from Oregon

Hey all. I got back from Oregon and found a lot of stuff, sorry no pics, didn’t bring a camera and the labtop ain’t compatible with pics. All right the first herp, me and my uncle were on a brick wall ’bout 3 feet in the air and i was telling him how i hope to see one snake, and he was wearing flip flops and i noticed something behind him moving, and it was a baby western diamondback rattler, the first hot I’ve seen in real life.

Next, i was on the couch watching tv as usual, it was a boring and my cousin runs in the house and told me that she went to get 2 mountain bikes to ride and saw a snake flying by, i ran towards the shed and saw a snake that was either a grey racer, or grey melanisitic garter.

Next one is sad, i was at a rendezvous (old fashioned camping trip) and was whittling a walking stick and my other cousin tells me he saw a snake. I run towards it and sadly it was a dead common garter.

Next, we were in a river that i heard has mudpuppies, salamanders, and crawdads. So i flip over a rock and i see a little mudpuppy, so i chased it, grabbed it, and there was another one, i chased it, told everyone i found a mudpuppy, and my cousin came splashing over and it got away. Since most of the stuff i found was at the rendezvous, ill just say what i found altogether. I saw an adult crawdad, a baby crawdad, nearly caught it, thousands of black with yellow stripes on the edge colored millipedes, or centipedes, i also found a red centipede about 3 inches long , and my cousin claimed to see a garter, but she lies alot.

Next, We went to a lake for 5 days. So me and my friend went canoing, and before we went i saw a yellow bellied salamander in the water, so we went quickly to find some, the total of yellow bellied salamanders were around 9 or 10. So then we went walking through a trail and i flipped a big board over and i found a snake shed, so we continued and he saw a quick glimpse of a garter just slithering around. So the next day we went canoing cause we heard frogs everywhere at night and found at least 6 bullfrogs jumping around.
