Rattle snake in oregon  Hey, um. I live in southern oregon and i just caught a baby rattlesnake. I’m not sure what kind it is. At first it looked like a corn snake but we dont get those here. THen it started rattling. It’s like a grey main color with sandy red hexagonal shapes on its back all the way down the body. I’ll try and post pics sometime. Let me know if you can think of anything. Thanks.

Rattle snake in oregon  How could you not see that it was a rattlesnake right away? Your also saying its a Western Diamondback with some research i did i found out its the only rattler in oregon if you still have it let it go! BEFORE YOU GET BITTEN

Rattle snake in oregon  No diamondbacks in OR. Would be Northern Pacific rattlesnake which is sub-species of prairie rattlesnake. I do not know how people confuse rattlesnakes with other snakes??????? If you do not know waht it is you should not have it. Can someone say venom ER!
