Motoro stingray help 
Has any one here ever kept any freshwater stingrays. I am considering getting one but I cant find enough info on google so if any one can help me out I would appreciate it. I need to know for sure what size tank and what exactly to feed it and what about substrate. I would also like to know if I could breed feeders for it. What are good tank mates, I read that Oscars are too aggressive and the ray would eat pretty much any thing else.

Although I have never kept freshwater stingrays, I do have some info on them. You will need a large tank, think over 100 gallons for 1. I know they can be housed with sand, but I have never heard anything about gravel being bad for them. I would say yes to housing them with Oscars, oscars are aggressive, but compared to alot of other cichlids they are big babies, lol. But a fully grown oscar needs around 50 gallons of water to themselves, just to disperse bioload. Np, keeping fw stingrays has always been something I wanted to do, but I don’t have room for that big of a tank right now. If you do decide to keep them, you gotta put up some pics!

Sorry every one, I am renting a house and land lord banned such a large tank even after I told her I would pay for any damage done from a leak.
