My Freshwater fish tank - 20 gallon 
Hey, I’m new to the site but not at all new to aquariums. I was wanting to get your opinions of my new freshwater aquarium. I don’t have any fish in this one yet but I was wondering what you think with the decor? Over crowded? Tips?

Nice. Depending on the type of fish you are going to keep in it will determine how much decor and plants should be in it. I’d say that right now, it’s between sparse and moderately planted. If you are going to put the smaller tropical fishies in there, I would get two or three more plants to stick in there; perhaps a big and a medium sized plant to push it more towards the moderately to highly planted range.
I really like it so far. It looks kind of like my 20 gal. I love to have a realistic looking set up.

Yea I really like my tanks to look realistic. I am thinking about putting a few neon tetras and maybe a dwarf gourami. I bought a few more fake plants like you suggested. Thanks!

I’ve been looking at Blue Ram Dwarf Cichlids. I am thinking about getting two dwarf qourami (females) and later getting two blue rams. What do you think?
