 Some of our fish

These are a few of the fish we got recently. This site won’t let me post any good ones, and so I don’t have pics of all of them - but here they are:

Two hearty tiger oscars


This is the big guy in the tank



An ablino oscar- seems to have bad eyesight



I love this little Jack, so vibrant in color, and an aggressive feeder



The other Jack Dempsey



There is also a pleco and two catfish, including a rarely seen Striped cat that lives in a dragon’s rear end (no, really).

Well after about three weeks in the tank with no live food ever caught and barely even any pellets or flakes eaten, the blind albino has died. Shoot!

We were wondering if it was even an oscar, due to the odd shape, markings, and behaviour. We’ve already replaced it with a larger, stronger, so far full-sighted albino that looks much more like its tankmates than the first one did. Pictures coming soon.

Where did you get the pure black jack dempsey? Nice Tiger oscars they look great, and the small albino the died was a ruby tail oscar.

i had 5 oscar but wen i sold them there were only 2. they are very aggressive fish and need a large long tanlk to support their territorial needs but other than that they are very cool fish. now with the fish tank they were in i am now breeding livebearers so check out the care sheet if your interested or contact me througfh the website
