Pleco to big!!
I got a pleco algae eater for my 10 gallon guppy tank, but it seems he’s grown rather large and contributes to much to my bio load. He/She also is a big reckless buffoon that likes to knock over everything in sight and send it floating to the top. I do admit, I love this fish and it has kept my tank 98% algae free, but Its to big for me, and I dont really want to upgrade to a larger 30 gallon. Any suggestions on how to get rid it WITHOUT killing it.
Thanks alot!

Pleco to big!! Give it away to someone who might want it for a larger aquarium.

Pleco to big!! no offense, but you should have reseached it before you bought it. common plecos need a 55 gal minimum.

Pleco to big!! you may also see if a local pet store would be willing to take him, some will take them off your hands (give you nothing) and others will buy them or give you store credit/trade for him.... perhaps you can get a trade for another algae eater that’s more 10g tank sized lol... GL!
